On December 9th, tribal employees were treated to a meal, Wal-Mart gift card and cash of $100 from the FSST Executive Committee. Elizabeth Wakeman, Director of the FSST Brownfield’s Program, donated a t-shirt with FSST logo to every employee. The Employee Christmas Party was held at the Royal River Entertainment Center (Bowling Alley) from 11:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Famous Dave’s from of Sioux Falls catered the noon meal. The employees were treated to bar-b-que ribs and chicken, baked beans, corn bread muffins and coleslaw. The FSST Employees enjoyed an afternoon of bowling, arcade games, billiards, visiting, getting a free massage for their computer stressed muscles and Karaoke led by Andy Davis. Door prize drawings were held for the Christmas table decorations and candy. The FSST Executive Committee was given gifts of Native American artwork and beadwork from the employees.
The Planning Committee for the Employee Christmas Party was Deb Wakeman, Human Resource Director and FSST staff: Julie Stephens, Ledora McDougle, Adele Davis, Celeste Honomichel, Carol Robertson and Doreen Bird.
