The Flandreau Santee Sioux Tribe's Department of Natural Resources will be accepting old TV's, Computers, and paint cans for disposal. The hours will be Monday thru Thursday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm and Friday 7:30 am to 4:00 pm (Closed during lunch hours 12-1 Mon - Thurs and 12:00 - 12:30 Fridays.) Any questions or concerns please contact the Natural Resources Office at 605-997-5123 during the above hours. Paint cans will be collected through April 1st to be taken courtesy of Allen's Auto to Brooking's Landfill. The electronics will be disposed of at a later date. Thank you.
Electronic (old computers & TV monitors) recycling FSST Natural Resources Department will be accepting until April 3rd, 2009 the FSST Department of Natural Resources will not be accepting any more electronic equipment for recycling.

Recycle: Drop-off point for “Waste Oil” consisting of motor oil transmission fluids, brake fluid gear oil, hydraulic fluids, and power steering fluid.
Used batteries consisting of car, truck, tractor, and lawn and garden batteries will be accepted.
No dry cell batteries “toy batteries” go-kart or scooter batteries.
Will haul of junk cars Free
Vehicles must be clean no trash.
Waste Oil must be in 5 gallon buckets with lids or waste oil in 55 gallon barrels will also be accepted.
No antifreeze
No paint
No household chemicals
No computers
No household appliances
Allen's auto will continue to collect batteries and waste oil.
